Arbor Diggs was born in Maryville, TN where she lived until she graduated from Maryville College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology Counseling. Being an athlete herself and wanting to help mentor and guide young people, she joined staff with Knoxville’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes where she served for 5 years as the Knoxville FCA Female Area Representative in the local middle and high schools.
When her husband Adam became the head pastor at Riverview Baptist Church in East Knoxville, Arbor and Adam moved to East Knoxville and began heavily serving their community. They began serving with JustLead site Mount Zion Baptist Church on Wednesday nights, and on Sunday mornings they began loving and serving youth from Sarah Moore Greene, Vine, and AE. During this move, her FCA involvement also moved to Fulton, Emerald Academy, and South Doyle. Through serving, leading, loving, and living in East Knoxville, Arbor felt God’s call to join Emerald Youth and go all in with her community.
In her free time, Arbor enjoys reading at coffee shops, watching the Vols, and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite verse is Romans 10:15, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.”
